This weekend we had a quick desert escapade ahead of the annual pilgrimage to San Francisco for GDC next week. We hit up the California desert and the town of Borrego Springs, which is home to some very cool art sculptures.
Scattered around the outskirts of the town you will find a variety of animals and other sculptures crafted out of iron.
There is a mix of real animals, dinosaurs, and creatures of myth and legend. It's worth seeking them out early in the morning, or just before dusk, as they can get very busy with visitors at the weekends.
It's well worth seeking out if you get the chance. You can find all the pictures over on Flickr as usual.
