He was responsible for forging dreams of the stars for generations of us ...

He will always inhabit a place in the hearts of many UK gamers of a certain age ...

Thank you Sir Patrick for sharing your wonderful life. You will be remembered.

Yes, it has dated horribly, and is peculiarly British, but it was ahead if its time in some ways in acknowledging gaming as being worthy of air-time.
