Some 2000AD nostalgia

As a kid who grew up in the UK and Ireland in the 80s and early 90s, 2000AD was an influence that you couldn't avoid. Given I was also fascinated by Celtic myths and legends, Slaine was one of the series that always struck a chord with me. He was a kind of mash-up of Conan and Irish folk legend CĂșchulainn. So I couldn't resist the opportunity to tackle a 70mm scale model that I stumbled upon while browsing recently.

Slaine (2000AD - 70mm)

I'm quite happy with hoe it worked out. Doing the tattoos freehand was great practice, and it's been a while since I've tackled a sculpt with lots of exposed skin, so it made for a fun diversion.

Not sure what I'll tackle next, might have to raid the backlog for some inspiration.
