...is that they have so many great stories. A few days R&R visiting family in Edinburgh (where many moons ago I was born) allowed for an opportunity to do the tourist bit, and go on some of the more unusual tours offered around the city. Between exploring the vaults hidden deep below the South Bridge of the city, to getting to wander around the cities old graveyards, you get to hear the folklore, stories, legends, myths and hearsay that make up the wonderful historical tapestry of a city as old as Edinburgh.

There is just something special about exploring old places, with old stories, and a hidden past you have to poke around to learn about...
