Some actual pleasant surprises coming out of E3 it seems. New Metal Gear on the XBox, a Left4Dead sequel and NEW Monkey Island adventures? To be honest that last part is enough for me, everything else at E3 is just icing on a perfectly rounded Monkey Island sized cake now.
I skipped out on the LA experience this year, maybe time to reconsider next year and return to see what the new old show is like again! Visiting E3 was always the the most hectic few days of the year when I wrote for IGN and used to fly there from England so I have tended to avoid it since unless my presence was required, maybe time to return and experience it again now that it's back 'home' at the convention center.
